Orange Peel Bucket

a. Definition

A specially designed bucket with three or more crescent-shaped jaws hinged to single support at the top. Due to the resemblance with peeled orange, it’s named orange peel bucket.

b. Application

1. Excavation of foundation pits, deep pit excavation, and loading of mud, sand, coal, and gravel in building foundations.
2. Excavate and load on one side of the trench or restricted space.
3. The loading and unloading, stacking, and transshipment of scrap steel, loose scrap, wood, ballast, and other similar materials.
In general, orange peel bucket is widely applied in iron and steel enterprises, ports, docks, railway ports, freight yards, stockyards, etc.
